Twin Tiers SWE 2008 Scholarship Awards

For the eleventh consecutive year, the Twin Tiers Section of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) offered a scholarship program to local students. Scholarships of $2000 each are awarded to female high school seniors in the Twin Tiers who plan to major in engineering or computer science at an approved college.

Applying for the 2008 Scholarship

Apply for the Twin Tiers Scholarship for young women on the move! The scholarships will be based entirely on merit, involvement and community service - not financial need. Eligibility requirements and application details are on the scholarship application (Microsoft Word document). Contact the Twin Tiers SWE Scholarship Committee for more information.

National SWE offers 56 national scholarships in amounts varying from $1000 - $5000 and totaling more than $75,000. These are available to graduating high school seniors and current college students (both graduate and undergrad). Check out the national scholarship information on the SWE scholarship page.

*In celebration of SWE's 50th Anniversary, The Society of Women Engineers Twin Tiers section was excited to have been able to offer an additional scholarship in the amount of $2000 for the year 2000, in addition to the five annual $1500 scholarships for local students.
