2008 Twin Tier Officers

President:
Lead Twin Tiers activities in the direction of Section vision. Responsibilities include presiding at monthly executive committee meetings, recruiting staff, and focusing on future direction and Section development. Increase visibility of SWE by meeting with industrial leaders. Steer Nomination and Membership Committee activities.
 
Vice President:
Create opportunities to demonstrate the value of diversity. Responsibilities include acting as the liaison with technical and related societies, recognizing outstanding SWE members, steering Career Guidance and Professional Development Committees activities, and filling Presidential responsibilities in her absence.
 
Treasurer:
Manage all organizational funds. The Treasurer maintains checking/ savings accounting records, develops and tracks budget, and creates financial strategies. Steers Fund Raising Committee activities.
 
Secretary/Webmaster:
The Secretary is the communication focus of the Section. Responsibilities include maintaining the Section's records and supplies, recording and distributing monthly executive committee meeting minutes and maintains mailing lists (paper, E-mail, and voice mail). Directs Publicity and Program Committees.  In 2004, the Secretary and Webmaster roles were combined since the website is viewed as the primary mode of communication for the section.
 
Section Representative:
This person is the link between the Twin Tiers Section and the Regional and National organizations. The Rep is a voting member of the Council of Section activities to Regional and National SWE.
